In conjunction with their production of Francis Poulenc's "Dialogues of the Carmelites," Opera Theatre of Saint Louis hosted an event highlighting the role of Sister Mary Antona Ebo in the civil rights movement, most notably in the March to Selma in 1965. The distinguished panel also featured soprano Kelly Kaduce, who sings the lead role in "Carmelites," and Clifford Brooks, a renowned opera educator with expertise in the French Revolution and Catholic orders. Opera Theatre of Saint Louis executive director Timothy O'Leary moderated this inspiring event.
